Fellowship for Research, Academic Mentorship and Exploration (FRAME)
Who Are We?
FRAME (Fellowship for Research, Academic Mentorship and Exploration) is a nonprofit initiative led by Science and Engineering PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career academics. We are guided by an advisory board of distinguished scholars and professionals from leading universities and industries worldwide. Together, we are aiming to shape futures beyond barriers by building an inclusive ecosystem that connects talent with global guidance and resources across disciplines.
OUR MISSION
Talent is everywhere, but access is not. Our mission is to make academic resources and opportunities accessible to all students, regardless of socio-economic background. We aim to provide global exposure and mentorship from leading experts across top universities and industries, equipping students with the knowledge, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive beyond traditional boundaries. At present, FRAME programs are open to students enrolled in state-level public colleges and universities in West Bengal, India.

Stories

Summer 2025, through the Phanindranath Sengupta Summer Research Fellowship under FRAME’s support and mentorship, Rup Debnath from Coochbehar College broke new ground by spending two months at IIT Delhi. Under the mentorship of Professor Prashant Mishra, Rup explored cutting-edge research and gained exposure to medicinal chemistry and nanochemistry, far beyond what just his coursework could offer. Together, we can inspire many more journeys like Rup’s.
